Use this when you want Aubrey to work with an approved app from an agent.

Connect or reconnect an app

  1. Open the agent workspace.
  2. Choose Tools.
  3. In Connections, find the app you want to use.
  4. Choose Connect or Reconnect.
  5. Complete the app’s sign-in flow, or enter its bearer token in the secure Tools form when Aubrey asks for one.
After the app is ready, Aubrey shows it as Connected. Some approved providers, such as CAISbook when it is available for your workspace, use a bearer token instead of a sign-in window. Enter that token only in the connection form in Tools, never in chat or a messaging channel. For a connected bearer-token app, choose Refresh when the provider has added newly approved actions. Aubrey first tries the securely stored connection, so you normally do not need to enter the token again. If the refresh cannot finish, the token form appears so you can reconnect. Use Revoke when you want Aubrey to stop using that app for this agent.

Continue a request from chat

If Aubrey needs an app connection while working on a request, the chat can show a connection card with a Connect or Reconnect button. A bearer-token app opens Tools and focuses its secure token form. Use that card to finish setup, then return to the request. If you send a different message instead of finishing the connection card, Aubrey stops waiting on that earlier app setup and treats the new message as a new request. Open the latest card when you are ready to continue.

Use connected apps in a group

Connected app access for Telegram or WhatsApp groups is controlled from Channels. If group participants should be able to use Airtable, Notion, or another approved app through Aubrey:
  1. Open the agent workspace.
  2. Choose Channels.
  3. Open the connected group.
  4. Enable Connected app actions for that group.
Group participants can use only the approved connected app actions for that agent.

Troubleshooting

Why do I see Upgrade?

That app is not available on your current plan. Open Settings -> Billing and choose a plan that includes the app you need.

Why do I see Reconnect required?

The app needs you to approve access again before Aubrey can continue. Choose Reconnect and complete the approval flow. This can happen when Aubrey needs a fresh approval for an older Airtable or Notion connection before it can use the current app flow. If you asked for a specific app, reconnect that same app instead of switching to a different one.

When should I use Refresh?

Use Refresh when a connected bearer-token provider has published newly approved actions or Aubrey says its available actions are out of date. Refresh reuses the stored connection first. Enter the token again only if Aubrey shows the secure form after the refresh fails.

Why do I see Admin setup needed?

That app is not available for your workspace yet. The workspace owner or platform admin needs to enable it first.
